has Bazzball helped England - sure!

has Bazzball saved Test cricket - don't stretch it.

but, I don't know how long this can last. Leaving the ball is still an essential part of batting in tests, which England didn't do very well.

I guess the importance of leaving the ball reduces if the batters can still get 350 consistently (assuming they were getting 300 earlier) on an average. The other aspect is county cricket isn't producing batters like it used to, so England are trying to fix the problem with the resources they have - attacking batters with all the strokes.

Not every team needs to do that. And even if they did, they don't have the same LOI batting talents to replicate it.
